About

Albert Einstein

Time is an illusion. Although it is one of the most notorious and apparently simple aspects of the human experience, it lacks definition as to its nature. The idea of present, past and future is essentially how we naturally feel about it. In actual reality, there is only the present and the rest is human speculation. Some people excelled in these speculations being Albert Einstein probably the first one that comes to mind. But time is also the realm of philosophy, literature, arts, etc. and J.B.Priestley from whom I posted the image of a book he wrote about time is one of the most endowed authors when it comes do the use of time in fiction and drama. Philosophy will be discussed, religion will be touched, because it is in essence about time, i.e., the time we spend while alive and it is a subject that deserves a separate discussion.
The approach I will use in this site will be basically split in two categories: Physically in daily use as a notion we depend on to do practically everything and Subjectively, exploring ideas and speculations as we see it.

There is an In Between section where I discuss Theoretical Physics, Experimental Physics and anything I cannot fit in the two basic notions, i.e., Physical and Subjective.

It is obvious that I privileged Einstein’s ideas and left out other possibilities which I discuss at the post “God does not play dice with the Universe” and “The block Universe”

Although there will be necessarily expositions by written text, I will try to avoid it because it is not only complicated for the average person, but has a tendency to be excessively long and boring to read and understand. I will leave the pointers, though, for those inquiring souls who want to know exactly what we are discussing. I will make maximum use of images and eventually some sort of midia like the movies representing what will be discussed.
I will make use of the Internet, like Wikipedia, etc., and will quote, abridge, compress and eventually expand it and will remark when I do.
